Bruce Kuhnel, P.E., serves as the President of System Service & Engineering. He oversees the direction, growth, and performance of the company. In 2023, Bruce became a Partner at Fidelity Building Services Group (Fidelity BSG) when System Service & Engineering joined Fidelity BSG.

Bruce has been with System Service & Engineering since 2012. Before the company joined Fidelity BSG, Bruce’s leadership helped grow System Service & Engineering into the reputable HVAC/Mechanical provider it is today. He has over 30 years of experience in engineering, contracting, and design-build for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems..

Bruce has served on the boards of leading industry associations throughout his career. He is a Past President of the Bay Builder’s Industry Association, Past Chapter President for Bay County’s Building Official Association of Florida, and Past West Region Director for the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Northwest Florida. Dedicated to furthering the careers of young industry professionals, Bruce is an HVAC instructor for ABC’s apprenticeship program.

Bruce graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He holds Mechanical and Plumbing licenses in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Mississippi and a Professional Engineer license in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
